At Smedley Orthodontics, our friendly, dedicated, and energetic orthodontic team is committed to working with you and your family to create a positive orthodontic experience every time you visit our practice. Our staff is an experienced team of well-trained professional. The staff has more than 140 years of service at Club Smed. Patients benefit tremendously from this dedication, experience, and continuity of personnel. Yearly the staff attends continuing education courses and seminars.

Our Front Office Team

Connie

Business Manager

Connie is our business manager and has been with Club Smed for 23 years. She is responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, insurance filing, and payroll.

Connie and her husband Mike have two children Michael and Heidi, and an adorable granddaughter Rachel. Connie is our resident gardener, cook, and jelly maker. Anyone who has tasted her strawberry jam is hooked for life.

Linda

Office Coordinator

Linda is the office coordinator and has been a member of Club Smed for more than 20 years. She started out part-time at the front desk while her children were young. What she loves most about her adventure at Club Smed is being able to meet and greet our patients and seeing them transform during their treatment.

Her responsibilities include opening the office daily, preparing the schedules (months in advance), balancing the financial day sheets, handling phone calls, and appointing the patients in a timely fashion with a Club Smed smile. Linda is very proud to be a team member at Club Smed where you will find our doctors very educated and caring; and a well-trained staff who are happy to assist you.

Linda and husband Jon have five children, four grandchildren, and a very lively shepherd/husky named Winston. When not at Club Smed, you can find her making memories with her grandchildren and family.

Karen

Treatment Coordinator

Karen is out treatment coordinator. She entered the orthodontic field in 1994. She has been at Club Smed for the past nine years. As treatment coordinator, Karen will see you through your first appointment and answer any questions you may have about treatment recommendations, appointments, and financial options.

Karen has been married for 27 years and has three grown sons. In her spare time, she enjoys running outdoors and spending time with family and friends.

Suzanne

Administrative Assistant / Treatment Coordinator

Suzanne has been working with the Club Smed team since 1989, giving her more than 20 years of experience. You can find Suzanne at the front desk most of the time (when she's not in the kitchen having another “snack”). However, Suzanne is cross-trained as a treatment coordinator, as well as help when needed to assist in the clinic.

Born and raised in the Glenmoore area. She and her husband Mike have three children. In her free time, you will find her playing with them... and running them to their activities!

Melanie

Clinical Technician

Melanie is one of our clinical technicians and has been part of Club Smed team since 1999. She has more than 15 years of orthodontic experience. In addition to assisting, she also does the advertising and Club Smed newsletters and helps with the front desk. But you can usually find her in the records room doing what she loves best. Taking before and after diagnostic records of our patients. She enjoys helping to ease the nerves of our first timers as well as seeing the final beautiful smiles that are created at Club Smed.

Melanie has really enjoyed the past 11 years at Club Smed and with all the exciting changes coming up she can't wait for the future.

Our Laboratory Team

Judy & Daryl

Lab Technicians

Judy and Daryl bring something very unique to our Club Smed office, which is our in-house lab. Having an in-house lab means we are able to provide our patients with faster service. We can start a patient weeks sooner by not having to wait for a send out appliance. In some cases, we can even replace a lost or broken retainer the same day! Between them, they bring 58 years of orthodontic expertise to our practice.

When Judy is not at Club Smed, you will most likely find her taking care of her first granddaughter, Bella. She has lived in Eagle all her life, and continues to reside there with her husband Rhys. They have two sons Neal and Travis, and two dogs Ringo and Haley.

Daryl started working for Club Smed right out of high school as an assistant. She lives in Glenmoore and enjoys spending time with her husband Victor, three grown children (Corey, Alyssa, and Erica), and their dogs, Cole and Oboe.
